Despite having multiple wins and podiums on track between them, until a few weeks ago, the FS-3 Racing duo of Lee Jackson and Rory Skinner were not allowed to ride on the road! Eager to change this, the pair decided to put their skills to the test and try out for their CBTs.
Rory visited Kawasaki Rider Training Services (KRTS) partner Biker School Glasgow, while Lee went to his local test centre. Utilising our Kawasaki Z 125 machines, both riders followed the advice of the experienced instructors on the best methods of riding on the road – with both passing their tests! Fresh from passing his CBT, Rory then decided to borrow a Ninja 125 from Kirkcaldy Kawasaki to ride to Knockhill for the Bennetts British Superbike round, where he went on to claim his first two podiums!
The two Superbike stars were not the only riders who have recently discovered the joys of road riding. Bike World presenter, and experienced motocross rider, Sophie McGinn also paid a visit to KRTS School Advanced Riding Techniques in West Sussex, where she first passed her CBT on a Kawasaki Z125, before going on to pass her full motorcycle test on the school’s Z650.
With restrictions easing, there has never been a better time to experience the fun and convenience of motorcycling. No matter whether you are a Superbike ace, off-road rider or a complete novice, Kawasaki Rider Training Services follows the same in-depth process to get you out on two wheels.
Working with authorised partners throughout the country, our friendly instructors can take you through every step of getting your motorcycle licence. Want to find out more? Visit
