First joining the Isle of Man-based team in 2016, the partnership yielded significant accolades immediately, with Dean claiming several TT podiums. Since then, Dean has been a regular podium finisher at the Isle of Man TT, taking a memorable victory in the Supersport race in 2018 before claiming an incredible win in the blue riband Senior TT the following year.
The 2023 TT this year proved a very successful event, claiming four podiums across the four races they entered on the Superbike and Superstock spec Ninja ZX-10RR. Alongside his success on the roads, Dean has also gone from strength to strength in the British Superbike class, becoming a regular points scorer in the competitive series.
Over the eight years he has spent with Kawasaki and the DAO team, he has become a valued part of the Team Green family, and both parties wish him luck in his next chapter.
Ross Burridge, Head of Marketing & Racing Department at Kawasaki UK:
“Dean has been a valued member of the Team Green family for many years! Watching him take on the Isle of Man TT course as aggressively as he did was always a pleasure, and we would like to thank him for all of his efforts. I would like to personally, and on behalf of Kawasaki UK, wish Dean the best of luck for his future career.”
Jonny Bagnall, DAO Racing Kawasaki Team Manager:
“Sadly, all good things must come to an end. As a team, we are all sad to be seeing Dean leave. We’ve had a fantastic eight years working together, and we would like to thank him for his service and for all of the success we have had together. We wish him the best of luck for what comes next, and we are excited for what the future has in store for DAO Racing.”
