Running alongside the MCF Youth League, Kawasaki riders who are part of 12 clubs nationwide are enrolled into the Team Green League in four categories: 65cc, Small Wheel 85cc, Big Wheel 85cc and Rookie KX250F.
Now in its second consecutive season, Kawasaki-mounted off-road riders across the country are competing to be top of the Team Green table.
There’s a fierce battle between brothers Jacob Hatch and Frazer Hatch from Newton Le Willows in the Team Green Rookie Class with just two points separating them. There’s only five points between the top two riders in the Big Wheel Class too with Jesse Wren of Portsmouth MXC marginally ahead of Lukus Pocock of South Somerset MXC.
In the Small Wheel class, Oliver Saville is ahead on 151 points with Billy Collins from Corsham SSC in second with 125 points. Riley Saunders from Ringwood MXC is in the top spot in the 65cc Class on 102 points and Owen Robbins from South Somerset MXC – and winner of the Team Green 65cc 2015 class – is in second with 78 points.
MCF General Manager, Roy Barton, said: “It’s great to be working on the Team Green League with Kawasaki once again in 2016. Following on from its success last year it’s great to see the heightened interest that we are receiving from riders competing for the titles. With the club events taking place throughout the season it’s hard to see who will end up as victors but the Rookie class is extremely close between brothers Jacob and Fraser Hatch”
The lucky four winners will be supported by Kawasaki UK with a heavily discounted 2017 KX machine of their choice, which they will receive at an exclusive training day with Team Green Youth Manager, Jeff Perrett, and the Team Green Youth riders.
