With representatives from across the whole spectrum of the European motorcycle media present, the venue for the launch has set the tone. The NARDO test facility is world famous and has been the development base for many of the most significant high performance vehicles to be produced by European motor manufacturers over the last 30 years.

Fitting then that the hallowed tarmac now plays host to the ZZR1400.
Recognisable from space, the huge “speed bowl” at NARDO is some 13km long and will play a significant part in the riding experiences of the journalists this week.

Under controlled conditions, the press will have a special chance to feel the unique performance rush that makes this not only the fastest accelerating machine of its type, but also the Hyperbike that offers class leading rider aids and handling control.

With ABS, traction control and power-mode selection as standard features –along with a back torque limiting “slipper clutch" – the mighty ZZR1400 is set to occupy centre stage at NARDO for the remainder of the week and then subsequently appear in press articles and on web sites across Europe.
